Recently I submitted a short story to an online journal called the ‘Turtle Way’ written by those with the experience of mental illness, which I’m pleased to say was accepted and published in this edition.
My story can be found here: ‘Lost’ written by Jack Hope
Without giving anything away, I’d just like to say that this particular story idea has been rattling around in my brain for a very long time, at least the better part of a decade. So I am particularly grateful that this particular opportunity to do something with it was provided to me by the Turtle Way.
Both the theme of mental health and the 600 word limit (it’s an ultra short) turned out to be just the additional factors, and challenge to bring this idea to fruition.
I hope you enjoy my story and the other literary contributions to the Turtle Way!

Congrats!
